Position Summary
Can/Am is looking for a dedicated and thorough Sales Solutions Consultant with at least 3 years of experience to present demonstrations of Can/Am products, engaging in pre-sales and pre-contract discovery, and providing technical responses to client inquiries.
As Can/Am continues to expand, your role will be pivotal in providing prospective clients with the information and demonstrations they need to make informed and confident decisions.
In addition, you will be supporting the sales team at trades shows and other sales activities. You will report to the V.P. of Sales and Marketing.

Qualifications
The candidate should be a fast learner with an aptitude for understanding.  
  • 3+ years in a Sales Solutions Consultant role or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience demonstrating software (working with government clients preferred).
  • Effective demonstration and communication skills for the purpose of professionally demonstrating Can/Am’s software solutions that remedy clients’ pain points.
  • Able to collaborate with the Implementation/Sales teams alongside the client to discover and understand business objectives and system needs.
  • Determine, through analysis, clients met and un-met needs to recommend a technical solution that addresses the needs and requirements, optimizing value for the client and Can/Am.
  • Design solutions that meet client requirements by identifying opportunities to present customized software solutions and communicate the depth of organizational resources with clients.
  • Ability to communicate with both technical and non-technical personnel.
  • Strong ability to create customer rapport and acceptance.
  • Reliable technical background to understand our product suite.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze issues and provide potential solutions. 
  • Presentation skills and ability to convey the product value to meet needs.
  • Near-expert level proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Efficient with communications, concise and thorough when making the necessary information available.
  • Inquisitive and able to ask intuitive and intelligent questions to ensure the client is heard and understood.  
  • Integral in interactions with clients and internal staff.
  • Follow through on projects and maintain a high level of responsiveness and persistence to meet the needs of the client and internal stakeholders.
  • Move quickly and able to take a strong stance without being overly abrasive.
  • Focus on key priorities and plans with the ability to schedule and organize appropriately.
  • 20-30% of travel required.
